Queer-Led Group Training in Toronto | 5-Week Program

What is Queer Work Out Club?

What You'll Experience

Your instructor will lead the group in a workout of the day, starting with a warm-up, detailed instruction of each exercise, and modifications provided for each individual’s comfort and level of ability.

The workouts will evolve based on feedback from the group, but typically includes at least 1 barbell exercise.

Anyone who self-identifies as queer is invited to join the club, which runs as a 5-week program.

The program fee is $150+HST.

This club is ideal for those with some weightlifting experience.

No experience? We invite you to check out the Queer Lifting Fundamentals course which is the perfect starting point to get familiar with strength training.

Meet Your Coach

Andi McQueen (They/Them)

Andi is a queer personal trainer with a passion for making every body feel both cared for & confident. They are fiercely protective of anyone who’s ever been told they don’t belong in the fitness world. (You do.) They will encourage you to be kind to yourself, and will hold space for you so you can come as you are and have a great workout.

A comedian by night, Andi loves to keep a sense of play when training. They have a background in weightlifting, calisthenics, mobility work, & running & adaptive programming for pain, pre & post natal, senior populations, mental health barriers & neurodivergence.

Andi is a CanFitPro-certified Personal Trainer & Pn1 Nutrition Coach.

No experience? We invite you to check out the Queer Lifting Fundamentals course which is the perfect starting point to get familiar with strength training.

Nope! As long as you have some familiarity with strength training you're welcome to join in.

At this time we run this as a 5-week program with advanced registration.

Once the program starts, we sometimes offer drop-in or pro-rated registration. Contact us if you're interested.

 

We require 48 hours notice if you can no longer attend the program. 

We do not refund for any missed sessions or pro-rate the program cost if you can only attend some of the sessions.

 

A maximum of 10 participants.
