About Queer Workout Club
Queer Workout Club (QWC) is a community-driven strength training program led by queer instructors, designed for anybody in the queer community looking for a supportive and inclusive space to lift.
Each 1-hour session includes:
An Inclusive Program
This club is for everybody in the queer community—all genders, orientations, ages, ability levels, personal histories, and family structures are welcome.
If you self-identify as queer, you’re invited to join.
Meet Your Coach
Andi is a queer personal trainer with a passion for making every body feel both cared for & confident. They are fiercely protective of anyone who’s ever been told they don’t belong in the fitness world. (You do.) They will encourage you to be kind to yourself, and will hold space for you so you can come as you are and have a great workout.
A comedian by night, Andi loves to keep a sense of play when training. They have a background in weightlifting, calisthenics, mobility work, & running & adaptive programming for pain, pre & post natal, senior populations, mental health barriers & neurodivergence.
Andi is a CanFitPro-certified Personal Trainer & Pn1 Nutrition Coach.
Program Policies
Cancellation Policy
Applying prior to the start of the first session:
Given the high-interest in the QWC program, this policy ensures spots are available for those who can commit to the full program.
Rescheduled Session Policy
We allow one rescheduled session per term. This must be arranged in advance with the instructor directly and used within the same term period. Make-up days cannot be rolled over to future terms.
Pre-Requisite Lifting Experience
Some weightlifting experience is required.
No experience? Start with our Queer Lifting Fundamentals course, designed to help you build confidence and get familiar with strength training.
Registration & Account Set-Up
Registering in Walla
Registering for QWC is managed by our booking software, Walla. It’s accessible via desktop or mobile browser.
When you register, you will be asked to complete a waiver, provide an emergency contact, and share basic contact information so we can communicate as needed over the course of the program.
To save some time, we recommend having your account in Walla set-up in advance of the registration date/time. You can do that at the link below.
Previous Xplor Accounts
In March 2026 we migrated to Walla from Xplor.
If you previously had an account with us in Xplor, we have migrated your basic account information to Walla.
To access your new Walla account, from the link below you’ll access the log-in page, select ‘forgot your password’ using the same email address as before. From there, follow the prompts to reset/create a password.
Please note, no payment/card details have been migrated to our new system. You will need to add a card to your file to book.
QWC has exclusive use of the whole gym during each session.
This club is ideal for those with some weightlifting experience.
No experience? We invite you to check out the Queer Lifting Fundamentals course which is the perfect starting point to get familiar with strength training.
