Welcome to Recess Fit Club, where we help bring our your best self  through exercise. Located in Koreatown, Toronto, we offer beginner-friendly group exercise classes and private personal training tailored to fit your life.

Our goal is to help you feel strong in your body no matter where you are on your fitness journey.

Recess Fit Club is Toronto gym specializing in group fitness classes, strength training, and personal training. We focus on building strength for every body and welcome both beginners & those returning to fitness. Our approachable setting provides tailored guidance on form, technique, and the safe use of dumbbells, kettlebells, & barbells. As a proud family-owned establishment, we champion sustainable fitness for all levels.

We are located in Koreatown by Christie Subway station at Bloor Street and Manning Avenue. Get directions to Recess Fit Club.

What’s that?

It’s the safe use of weights and resistance to stimulate your body to get stronger and protect your bones, and joints.

No, you do not need any exercise or strength training experience to workout at Recess Fit Club.

Our specialty is empowering individuals who are beginners in fitness or returning to fitness after a break.

We'll teach you technique so you can exercise safely and effectively. We'll show you how to use the equipment, and provide options to you based on your level of fitness and comfort level.

Every body is welcome at Recess Fit Club.

Our regularly scheduled group fitness classes are drop in, however advanced registration is required. Class sizes are small, so booking ahead ensures we save a spot for you.

If the class is full, you can put yourself on a waitlist and get added automatically when a space becomes free. 

We also offer flexible rescheduling and cancellation windows, because we understand that life happens!

You can cancel up to 3 hours before class to receive your credit back—except for 7AM classes, which must be cancelled by 9PM the night before.

We designed it this way because we understand that life happens, but also want to give fellow members a fair shot at getting into class—especially for those early mornings.
